The WR100s are mostly waterproof (swimming, no diving), and are solar powered. Going to get batteries replaced are annoying, time consuming, and expensive. This is a classy, well respected, and long lasting watch. My dad has a citizen watch he bought in the 80s that is still just like the day he bought it. I'm so happy to have a quality product that I'll have to buy batteries for.
The design will stay in style forever, classy black with the very small diamonds. It's very nice! It's band is also very comfortable. I have tiny wrists, and with some links taken out the watch fits perfectly. No pinching or anything you get with cheaper watches. Not having a leather/cloth/rubber band means this watch is better for everyday wear because it won't wear out.
